The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State appears to have taken
sides in the clash between Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha and Senator
Chris Anyanwu.
Anyanwu is the senator representing Imo East Senatorial District.
The duo had a face off on Boxing Day (December 26, 2013) when each other’s
convoy clashed which led to the manhandling of Anyanwu’s security details.
Speaking to Journalists in Owerri, the State Chairman of APGA, Prince
Marshal Okafor said the senator has a history of disrespecting constituted
authorities.
‘The senator has a history of disrespecting elders and constituted
authority’ Anyanwu said
Anyanwu’s postulation is coming on the heels of the party’s resolve to
set up a Probe panel to look into the face off. When reminded that he has already
taken sides in the matter, he said the panel will still do its job
