Super Eagles Star, Ahmed Musa Laments CSKA'S Loss To Arch Rivals


Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa has expressed his disappointment following CSKA Moscow's defeat to Zenit St Petersburg in the final of the Russian Cup on Monday.

Musa and his teammates went down to a 4-1 defeat to Zenit with Nigeria international, Aaron Samuel scoring the only goal for CSKA in the encounter.

 A visibly disappointed Musa told from his base in Russia that they are still finding it difficult to cope with the loss against one of their archrivals.

"It's sad to lose in the final of any competition especially to one of your biggest rivals," the former VV Venlo of Holland player told
"Everyone in the team is disappointed with the defeat. We were really determined to win the trophy, but unfortunately, it wasn't our day.
"We are sorry to disappoint the fans and we hope to make them happy in future."
A brace from Brazilian forward Hulk and goals from Alexander Kokorin and Artur Yusupov gave Andre Villas Boas side the win
