The All
Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) holds its inaugural Board of Trustees Meeting in
Calabar, Cross Rivers State capital this weekend.
The meeting is the first after the party
reconstituted the Board now chaired by former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu
Sherrif. Agenda for the meeting is sketchy, but party sources said issues that
will strengthen the party for the daunting political challenges ahead will be
discussed.
The meeting
is expected to be declared open by the party’s national chairman, Dr. Ogbonnaya
Onu and will be attended by party stakeholders across the federation.
