Araraume blasts Okorocha's Free Education, Health Programmes

Senator Ifeanyi Arararume, the Action Congress of Nigeria (CAN) Governorship candidate in the April 2011 Governorship elections has fired shots at the Rochas Okorocha Administration, casting aspersions on some of the Adminstration’s policies such as free education
Araraume who spoke to newsmen at his Isiebu country home, said he is stunned at the manner the State Government is praising itself over the free education programme. He said it is funny that the State Government is beating its chest over the programme, when the Federal Government has initiated free education from primary to Junior Secondary Schools (JSS3).He added that free education is not also feasible in the State owned Imo State University as four of his relatives in the institution still pay tuition and other fees in the university.
He wondered why the State Government will waste scare resources in the name of building new General Hospitals in the 27 local Governments when there are existing hospitals in the local Government’s begging for attention, rehabilitation and repair.
