The All Nigeria
Peoples Party (ANPP) and the Congress For Progressives Change (CPC) have
demonstrated their willingness to work closely as a basis to strengthen the much anticipated
merger of opposition parties that will challenge the ruling Peoples Democratic
party.
Recently, the ANPP
leadership led by its National Chairman, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu visited CPC Founder
and Presidential candidate, Rtd Maj Gen Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna.
Onu said they are
in Kaduna to commiserate with the General over the death of his daughter. But political pundits argue that the visit is beyond the reasons propounded by the
ANPP boss as indications emerged recently that talks on the merger of
opposition parties has entered advanced stage
