Big Blow For Rochas: PDP Poach Rescue Mission Disciples

The gale of defection that has hit the camp of Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has taken a new turn with indications that top political bigwigs in the Imo State government   will run to the PDP.
Okorocha is of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
With the resignation of the Mayor of Owerri zone, Chief Gibson Njemamze (Oyiga) from the Rochas camp recently, there are feelers that other top officials in Okorocha’s government will abandon him for the PDP.

This blog exclusively reported last week that there are serious moves by the opposition PDP in Imo State to poach those whom they consider as Okorocha’s political assets and allies.
The intensity of the poaching game intensified at the weekend when speculations became rife that a political big-fish from Okigwe zone who served Udenwa, Ohakim and the present Okorocha administration is set to return to the PDP soon.

Despite the internal wrangling among key stakeholders in Imo PDP, there is concerted effort to woo back its members who strayed away and joined Okorocha’s rescue mission.

A source confirmed to this blog that the coming weeks will be a period of political thunderbolt for the rescue mission as two top aides of the present administration are set to leave the APC for the PDP.  One of them is a woman who served former Governor Achike Udenwa.

And to strengthen the poaching game, automatic tickets are being dangled at the returnee members who may want to use the party’s platform to actualize their political aspiration.
