Mr. Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha, a social critic who accused the
Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Benjamin Uwajumuogu, of mind

reports that he took to his heels after refusing to honour the invitation of
the Ad hoc Committee constituted by the Imo House of Assembly to investigate
allegations of fraud against the Speaker.

Samuelson said he has no reason to run away, maintaining that he
has no case with the committee set up by the Speaker, alleging that those who
make up the committee are the Speaker’s henchmen.
He says the committee is programmed to absolve the Speaker of
any wrong doing, stating that his petition against the number three citizen of Imo
State is before the Economic Crimes and Financial Commission, EFCC.
“ The Speaker and his aides should subject themselves to the
EFCC. I have no business with the committee”
He maintained that he did not receive the invitation but heard a
radio announcement on the radio which invited him to appear before the committee.
Samuelson served Speaker Uwajumogu as Special Adviser On Media. He
fell out with his boss, accusing him of aiding and abetting corrupt practices
carried out by some of his aides.
The Speaker’s office denied the alleagtions
