A group, Generation Initiative For Women And Youth Network (GIWYN) says it is partnering with other allies such as Women Global Network For Reproductive Rights (WGNRR) and other organizations across the globe to evolve a positive approach to debunk "false statements about abortion and replace them with realities of prove research and individual experiences of abortion".
In a statement by WGNRR, it said the backlash from recent planned parenthood attacks and events worldwide sourrounding abortion related stigma such as silence, fear, shame, are all elements that the anti choice movement is ongoing.
It said it has conceptualised " Bust The Myth" to properly convey the goal of framing abortion in a different perspective and lens.
"Part of breaking the stigma is removing these ideologically charged and socially constructed beliefs that permeate all levels of society and reinforce stigma.
