Mr. Precious Nwadike, an Owerri based journalist and Editor of Community Watchdog Newspaper, an Owerri local tabloid was at the weekend, arrested and released by the Imo State Police Command.
Nwadike’s Newsppaer reported the controversial missing of large sums of money in the home of Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor, which was said to be part of the bail out funds Imo State received from the Federal Government.
According to him, he alleged that he has been trailed y unknown persons since he published the report.
The State Government has since denied the report.
Speaking to INNONEWS, he confirmed his arrest and subsequent release by the State Police Command.
