Just when the nation and the football world are still reeling from
the shock of Stephen Keshi’s sudden death, one-time manager of the
Nigerian Super Eagles and Technical Director of the NFF, Coach Amodu
Shaibu is dead.
Shaibu Amodu died in his sleep in Benin after reportedly complaining of chest pains on Friday night.
Confirming the development on Saturday morning, the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF used their official Twitter handle to tweet: “NFF Technical Director, Amodu Shuaibu has died at the age of 58”.
His death is coming three days after the death of former Super Eagles Captain and Coach, Stephen Keshi, who also died in Benin, the Edo State capital.
