Hospitalized Journalist Raises Alarm, Says Doctor, Nurse Are After His Life

·APPEALS TO OKOROCHA , CP TO INVESTIGATE
An accident victim who is presently hospitalized at Federal Medical Center, FMC, Owerri, Imo State, Mr. Martain Chukwu has cried out to the State Governor, Rochas Okorocha and the state commissioner of Police, Mr. Taiwo Lakanu to save his life from a couple who are a doctor and matron in the hospital.
Mr. Chukwu who spoke to Nigeria Newspoint from his sick bed, said that his persecution started immediately he was admitted into the hospital following a ghastly motor accident he had with a “heat and run” driver.

The patient asserted that soon than later he was uncontiously admitted into the hospital, than the matron in-charge of ward II of the accident victim Maria Asodike allegedly asked him to tender a discharge request so that he would introduce him to another hospital where he would be treated.

Mr. Chukwu alleged that the hospital the matron wants to go, is allegedly owned by her husband, Dr. E. Asodike who is an autopedic consultant at the FMC.

He said that the matron issued him with an open threat immediately he refused her request, that she would make sure that he dies in the hospital.

Mr. Chukwu, a journalist and father of six claimed that since March no medical attention has been administered on him, as the matron has allegedly connived with other nurses under her to make sure that his medical record disappeared.

He said “I have been abandoned since march, courtesy of matron Asodike who wants me dead simply because I refused to go to her husband’s private hospital. She declared war on me. The doctor who is her husband has refused to attend to me for three months running”.

The accident victim alleged that the matron and her husband, had a confrontation with him in one of the routin ward checkups and heat him in the process.

“The matron and the husband mobbed me one of the daily routine checkups . The woman has made it hail for me. No improvement. I am gradually becoming paralyzied. I sustained injury and lost money in the process.”

“she hid my medical folder and since march, no attention has been given to me. If doctor comes to the ward, no attention is given to me.”

Mr. Chukwu also alleged that the matron on one of the days, she brazenly disconnected a skeletial fraction helping his bones to become normal.

He continued “because of lack of attention, my broken bones have been infected, smelling and detorating. My bed sheets have not been changed for three months.”

Mr. Chukwu therefore appealed to the Governor of the State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Taiwo Lakanu to come to his rescue from the couple whom he alleged want to kill him by all means.

The management said that investigation on the patient's allegation has begun with the view of carrying out justice.
