Kema Chikwe In Trouble, PDP Youths Accuse Her of Unholy Alliance With Ihedioha

CHIKWE
PDP National Woman Leader, Dr(Mrs) Kema Chikwe, has come under fierce attack from Concerned Imo PDP youths.

They frowned at her open support to Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, the Deputy Speaker of Federal House of Representatives. They also recalled her political escapades to buttress the fact she has no electoral value in the State.

In an open letter to PDP national chairman, Adamu Muazu, the group accused the Woman leader of displaying open support to one of the governorship aspirants in the party in Imo State, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha.

It said “ the grave danger implicit in her unholy alliance with Hon Ihedioha is that the other aspirants are now having the fear that the PDP national leadership has already endorsed the Deputy Speaker as the official candidate of the party in Imo State ahead of the 2015 elections. This has led to erosion of confidence on your leadership.

The statement signed by Engr. Eustace Okere (Owerri Zone), Mr. Justus Okapleke (Okigwe Zone), Hon. Jude Onwumere (Orlu Zone), called on the party leadership to investigate the untoward action of the Woman Leader and accordingly call her to order

They stated that it is unfortunate that the woman leader’s action runs contrary to the mission of the party leadership and President Goodluck Jonathan to unite the party through unity and reconciliation rallies.

The group described the Woman leader as a rancid election loser, recalling that all elective offices she ran right the UNCP days to the present disposition has all ended in futility.

Part of the letter reads “it is however regrettable that while you and our dear president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan are totally committed to re-inventing the party and offering a level playing field to all aspirants within the party, some of your colleagues in the National Working Committee (NWC) are hell bent on scuttling that goal through their subversive and highly partisan activities in their home states”

The youths advised the national chairman of the PDP that the “only way PDP can regain Imo State is for the national leadership to organize a credible and acceptable primaries that will produce the best candidate and restore the confidence of voters in our party. The current activities of Dr. Chikwe and her rancid antecedents negate that objective, hence the need for urgent intervention”
