Imo CP, Lakanu Takes Imo Deputy Governor To Bursted Criminal Hideouts At Douglas Road, Owerri

 




 Determined to rid Imo State of all forms of crime and criminality, the Commissioner of Police, Imo State, CP Taiwo Lakanu, fdc led the Deputy Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Prince Eze Madumere, mfr  round one of the premises located at Douglas Road discovered to be haven for criminal activities.

The premises which is the headquarters of all forms of criminal activities in Owerri metropolis where rape of innocent women, sale and consumption of hard drugs such as cocaine and Indian hemp are concentrated.

 Several police raid activities have been carried out in the premises leading to the arrest of over 50 suspects who are being prosecuted in court.

Items recovered at the premises include so many women hand bags suspected to have been snatched from innocent women, some quantity of cocaine, Indian hemp and other sundry materials used in sniffing cocaine.

In his reaction, the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, mfr expressed surprise of what he saw at the premises and maintained that the State Government will step in to ensure that the premises ceases from being used for nefarious activities while assuring that the state government will continue to support and collaborate with the Police Command in the fight against crime and criminality in the state.
