With three years to the next governorship election in Imo State, co –coordinators of Agenda group, the political machinery of Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha have received brand new buses.
Agenda Group is embedded in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the political platform that catapulted Okorocha to power in 2011. It was unclear as at press time what the buses are meant for.But a source in the Agenda group told this blog that the buses were brought into the State recently and were shared to Local Government chapters of Agenda group across the State.
He was not categorical if the buses were part of plans to oil the speculated 2nd term ambition of the Imo State Governor or his much trumpeted presidential aspiration.
Okorocha had told Nigeria’s national daily newspaper, The Sun that his presidential dream is alive. And to strengthen his seriousness for the plum job, this blog was reliably informed that liaison officers have been appointed to represent Imo State in the Northern Part of the country.
