NEWS ITEM: PDP EX GOVERNORS TO RECOVER OPPOSITION STATES

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is not resting on its oars to ensure that States it lost in the 2011 elections are recovered.
A high level meeting held in Abuja recently and attended by the party's bigwigs including the former governors and key officers of the national leadership of the party deliberated on the need to hand over such States to the ex Governors who lost to candidates of opposition parties.
A source said the meeting which had in attendance  former PDP Governors of Imo, Zamfara, Ekiti, Oyo and Nasarawa States was used a tool to re integrate the former chief executives of the States into the scheme of things of the party.
The ex governors, according to a source at the meeting, were said to have complained bitterly how they were unfairly treated and neglected after they lost their bids to return to their offices a second time.
