Kelechi Iheancho Takes Man City To Champions league Next Season, Scores Vital Goal Against Swansea.

Nigerian teenager, Imo State Born, Kelechi Iheanacho ended his season on a high as he scored a vital goal that virtually sealed Champions League football for Manchester City next season.

The goal was City’s only one as they drew 1-1 away to Swansea City on Sunday, the final day of action in the Premier League.

Iheanacho’s goal in the 5th minute of the encounter at the Liberty Stadium was his 8th in his debut season in the English Premier League.

Courtesy of Iheanacho’s effort, City end the season with 66 points. While Manchester United have a chance in catching them on same points, they will need to defeat AFC Bournemouth with as much as 18 goals to clear the massive goals difference between both sides.

The game at Old Trafford was abandoned owing to a bomb scare.

At the Emirates, it was a sweet ending for Alex Iwobi and his Arsenal teammates as they sneaked past fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur to finish in second place.

Arsenal beat Aston Villa 4-0 to claim the second spot while Spurs were beaten 5-1 by Newcastle to drop to third spot.

The development means Spurs are yet to finish above Arsenal in the league in 21 years.

At Stamford Bridge, Leicester forced Chelsea to a 1-1 draw to finish the season with a 10-point gap. Watford and West Brom were also forced to home draws by Sunderland and Liverpool respectively
