Book On 2011 Imo Guber Elections Coming- Ohakim

 


Former Imo State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim, last week said a book he will author revealing behind the scenes that took place before and after the 2011 Imo Governorship election which he lost, is underway.
Ohakim whose intention to return as Imo State Governor for a second term was quashed by Rochas Okorocha  of APGA, said  the book will contain lucid details of what transpired in the State during the elections.
The Ex Governor who spoke at a book launch Democracy By Military Tank, the untold story of 2011 Imo Governorship Election’ written by his former aide, Ethelbert Okere, also took a swipe at Governor Okorocha, urging Imolites to ask the Imo Governor the whereabouts of N13.5 billion naria, being balance of the N18 billion bond he secured for Imo State from the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Ohakim claimed he assessed N3.5 billion naira from the bond to inject into the Imo wonderland lake project. He said the entire bond was assessed for the purpose of  converting the lake into a tourist attraction.
It will be recalled last wee that Governor Okorocha had threatened to institute a probe to unravel the financial misdeeds of  Ex Governor Ohakim during his four year reign as Imo Governor between 2007- 2011.
