Imo Commissioners Lobby To Retain Positions

 




Following the public pronouncement by Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha that he intends to sack his commissioners, most of them have besieged the homes of close friends, family members and associates of the governor lobbying to retain their jobs.

Okorocha had during his second year in office anniversary celebration announced that he will do away with some of his commissioners as his Rescue Mission administration takes another dimension.

 Most of the commissioners are said to have invaded the homes of Governor Okorocha’s close allies both in Owerri and Abuja begging to be retained in the new look cabinet in the State.

A local tabloid had speculated last week that eight commissioners are on the firing range of the State governor, a situation that has kept most of the commissioners uneasy
