Botched Imo APC Congress; Aggrieved Members Shun Appeal Panel, May Decamp To PDP

The botched State Congress of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Imo State has left in its trail some aggrieved and disenchanted members of the party.

Top on the options of the aggrieved members is to head to another political party.

It was unclear if they will go to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, which has gained political strength following the decamping of key stakeholders and members of the ruling APC in the State.

Among those likely to leave is Charles Onuoha, a governorship aspirant in the APC.
Onuoha served in Okorocha’s rescue mission as Commissioner before he quit and opted to contest for the office of the governor.

This blog gathered that many of those who are aggrieved with the manner the State congress was manipulated were said to have petitioned the national leadership of the party.

They were referred to the Appeal panel to table their complains.

This however did not go down well with the aggrieved party stakeholders who are said to be contemplating the option of decamping to the PDP in the State.

Efforts to speak to Chief Onuoha to verify these allegations were futile as at press time.
