Former
Chief of Army Staff, General Martin Luther Agwai is now the national chairman
of SURE P.
Almost
all the national dailies quoted a Statement by the presidency which confirmed
Agwai as the new helmsman at SURE P. The Presidency also reeled out names of new appointees for Federal Government establishments.
The
appointment of Agwai indicates that former Imo State Governor, Chief Achike
Udenwa has been ruled out to head the agency.
Reports
were widespread in Owerri that the ex Imo governor was favoured for the plum
job.
Udenwa is believed to be making moves to rejoin the PDP after dumping the
APC
