More Defections Hit Rochas Camp, Commissioner Set To Join APGA

The gale of defections that has hit Governor Rochas Okorocha’s All Progressive Congress, APC may continue with indications that a female commissioner in the rescue mission cabinet is also making moves to pitch her political tenth with the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA.

The female commissioner (names withheld) who has been avowed Rochas supporter and APC stalwart is sulking over the rejection of nominees in the just concluded ward and local government congress of the APC in the State.

The Commissioner is  very vocal and has the ears of the Governor is angry with the fact despite her complains to the Governor, her pleas has fallen on deaf ears there is no sign that the ward executives will be altered to suit her political desire.

She was said to have even taken her plea to the First lady and wife of the Governor, but yet her entreaties has fallen on deaf ears.

A source said her present political ordeal is a reverse to what she normally metes out to other political appointees in the Rochas cabinet.   Her stock in trade, according to the source, is that she blackmails other appointees and curry for cheap favour from the number one citizen of the State.

“Her stock in trade is to pick up quarrels with other appointees and whenever the matter gets to the governor, she is always favoured. There was a time political leaders in her local Government resented her actions and excessive-ness and reported to her His Excellency.

They even went as far as placing advertorials in local tabloids in Imo State passing a vote of no confidence on her.  Despite all these, the Governor pardoned her. But now she has been hit by the same bug”

The Commissioner is said to be contemplating to move to the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) to boost her senatorial ambition.  If she joins APGA, it will be her third political party after romancing the PDP where she was once State Woman leader and later vied for the National Woman position of the party.
