The Imo State Police Command, Owerri has assured all stakeholders in Saturday's Imo North Senatorial re run of a level playing ground.

Briefing newsmen in Owerri alongside top officials of the NSCDC, Immigration, at the State Police Command, Owerri,  the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dave Akinyemi assured of the police's neutrality in the upcoming polls, stating that the Force is no surrogate to any political party
He also spoke in the preparedness of the State Police Command on the Imo North Senatorial Re Run election as it will stick to its constitutional responsibility

The Police authorities at the State Police Command were not forthcoming on the story as the DCP simply said the CP traveled to Abuja.
